Josh Harder for Congress District 9

Josh Harder understands that his primary responsibility is to advocate for everyday families. He first ran for office to stand up against politicians who were threatening to take away his brother’s healthcare. Today, Josh proudly represents California's 9th Congressional District, which includes San Joaquin County and parts of Stanislaus and Contra Costa counties.
Josh's family has a deep-rooted history in San Joaquin County, having lived there for five generations. His great-great-grandfather joined a wagon train in search of gold but settled down just short of his destination to start a peach farm in Manteca. Growing up in the community, Josh witnessed how hardworking people are often overlooked by politicians in Washington and Sacramento. He is dedicated to making their voices heard by working to lower the costs of gas and housing, enhance community safety, and protect local water resources. This mission is personal for Josh; he wants his daughters, Lillian and Karina, to grow up in a safe community while receiving a world-class education.
Josh serves as a member of the influential Appropriations Committee, which oversees the federal budget. He is the first Democratic member of Congress from the Central Valley to serve on this committee in almost 50 years, and he uses his position to advocate for increased federal funding for water infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, veterans, and other local priorities.
Before entering public service, Josh began his career in the private sector, focusing on job creation and business growth. After earning a degree in public policy and business, he taught business at a local junior college.
Josh lives in Tracy with his wife, Pam, and their daughters, Lillian and Karina.

Travis Castle for SJC Supervisor District 4

Travis Castle is the hard-working fighter we need to represent the communities of San Joaquin County as our supervisor.
Proud of his family heritage, Travis continues to maintain his ranch. Castle Family Ranch started in 1973 in Elk Grove, California, by his grandfather, Allen Castle. Travis and his children continue to maintain the farm in Acampo by raising cattle, goats, and honeybees. They continue their grandfather’s legacy by preserving their connection to the land.
Travis understands the importance of responsibility because he learned it from his mother, Beverly Castle, and stepfather, Donald Ban. His family showed him to value honesty and hard work.
Inspired by his stepfather’s steady guidance, he chose to follow in his footsteps and dedicate himself to a career in firefighting. Travis started his firefighting career on September 11, 2001, when he experienced both tragedy and heroism that defined his future work.
Travis dedicated himself to serving others after that day. He is driven by a strong sense of duty and a willingness to make sacrifices for others. From that moment forward, Travis carried with him a deep sense of duty, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to others.
Through his experience as a parent of children who attend public school and a community leader, Travis observes how county government fails families by spending millions on construction waste and internal conflicts, and allowing outside groups to control decision-making. Cost overruns on government construction projects in the millions of dollars have plagued county government; divisive infighting and bickering have failed our residents.
It’s time for better.
Travis has experienced our streets firsthand while responding to 911 emergencies and providing support to families during their most challenging times. The time has come for him to defend our community as a member of the Board of Supervisors. He seeks to protect San Joaquin County from developer exploitation that threatens our resources, while ensuring the county government serves the people, not special interest groups.
Travis knows the stakes because he lived them. He literally has walked our streets in service to our neighborhoods as a first responder. He’s running to protect San Joaquin County from greedy Los Angeles developers who want to steal our water and keep our cities safe. The people of San Joaquin County can depend on Travis Castle to protect them through his dedication, work ethic, and commitment to our community.
Annette Sanchez, Stockton City Council, District 1

My name is Annette Sanchez. I am not a career politician, nor have I ever run for office. I am writing to share something deeply important to me: I have decided to run for a seat on our local City of Stockton Council, District 1. This choice comes from a genuine desire to serve our community and to help shape a future that reflects our shared values, needs, and hopes.
Over the years, I’ve seen both the strengths and the struggles within our city. I’ve watched families work hard to build stability, small businesses fight to stay afloat, and neighborhoods come together in moments of challenge. These experiences have shown me how much potential we have — and how much thoughtful, committed leadership matters.
I am running because I believe our community deserves better than what it currently has and needs a voice that listens first and leads with transparency, respect, and collaboration. I want to help create practical solutions to the issues we face every day: safer streets, stronger local businesses, more opportunities for our youth, and a city government that is accessible and accountable to the people it serves.
My goal is not to bring in my own agenda, but to elevate the voices of residents who often feel unheard. I want to work side by side with you — to understand your concerns, celebrate your successes, and make decisions that reflect the real needs of our community.
Public service is a responsibility I do not take lightly. I am stepping forward because I care deeply about where we live, and I believe that together, we can build a city that works better for everyone.
Thank you for your support, your trust, and your belief in what we can accomplish as a community. I look forward to the conversations ahead and to earning the opportunity to represent you.
